The Obama administration is reportedly considering several fixes for the banking system. Unfortunately, none of these include the most important step: writing down the value of bank assets to nuclear winter levels. And most of them include the wasting of hundreds of bilions of taxpayer dollars to bail out bank stakeholders.

I figured this would happen when all the Whos in WhoVille were asleep. A few years back, Citibank acted as if they didn’t want my personal and business banking, so I went elsewhere. Then, when I was a victim of credit card fraud, they acted as if I were the criminal. [...]
So.. who’s next to get bailed out at taxpayer expense? Why, Citigroup, of course! Who else?
