I figured this would happen when all the Whos in WhoVille were asleep. A few years back, Citibank acted as if they didn’t want my personal and business banking, so I went elsewhere. Then, when I was a victim of credit card fraud, they acted as if I were the criminal. After resolving that, I closed all accounts. As far as I’m concerned, they could disappear. But no, not in bailout nation.
U.S. Approves Plan to Help Citigroup Cope With Losses
Federal regulators approved a radical plan to stabilize Citigroup in an arrangement in which the government could soak up billions of dollars in losses at the struggling bank, the government announced late Sunday night.
